Jen Phillips Karosich

Jen Phillips Karosich

Title: Managing Director, Client Services
Expertise: E-discovery project management, client development, managed document review, team leadership
Education: J.D., Seattle University School of Law; B.A., with honors, Political Science and Sociology, University of Washington

Jen Phillips Karosich is a Managing Director at Discovia. In this role, Jen directs and supervises client delivery by the company’s industry-leading Project Managers. Jen is an industry veteran who has overseen hundreds of large scale e-discovery projects and managed Client Services, Consulting, and Technical teams who are dedicated to providing outstanding service to corporate and law firm clients. Jen’s 12 year career includes positions as Vice President of Solutions and Services at Applied Discovery and work in the Data Analysis Technology Group at the (former) Seattle firm of Preston Gates and Ellis LLP prior to joining Discovia. Jen is a member of the Washington State Bar Association. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington with honors, and her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law.

Alan Linch

Alan Linch

Title: Managing Director, Client Services
Expertise: Managed service implementation and delivery, Strategic discovery consultation and workflow development, Team leadership.
Education: J.D., Tulane University Law School; B.S., Double major in Political Science and Environmental Policy Studies, Vanderbilt University.

Alan co-runs Discovia’s Client Services team, which is comprised of attorneys, project managers, and litigation support professionals throughout the United States. While at Discovia, Alan has launched and maintained managed service relationships for multiple AmLaw 200 law firms and Fortune 200 corporations. In addition to overseeing project management development and delivery, Alan consults directly on discovery best practices in all EDRM phases, from information governance to trial. He also advises clients on advanced discovery techniques and legal documentation preparation, including ESI agreements, declarations, defensibility reports, and technology assisted review workflows. A licensed California attorney, Alan’s legal career prior to joining Discovia included stints at the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC as well as private law firm practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. Alan has played an active discovery management role as an attorney in numerous successful trials, meet and confer sessions, and large scale document reviews.
